Nicole Clare

Nicole Clare graduated with a BA in Visual Arts & Design from the University of North Texas.  She currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas where she has continued her career in Interior Design and as an Artist. She became a mother shortly after her transition from serving overseas as a missionary and her creative passion is now greatly influenced by her children. Guided by her apostolic passion, love of culture, and traveling, she continues to leave her mark as a Contemporary artist.

“Existence is the mere definition of Creation.  To create is to communicate and express the thoughts that make ideas.  The very thoughts that make life possible.  I believe every unique human soul is an original idea.” -Nicole Clare

The mediums used in her artwork range from charcoal, watercolor, and acrylics to various glasses, metals, and natural materials. The bold use of colors and lines in her artwork uniquely capture her perspective of beauty within the world as she believes even a single line can have a great emotional impact. With high contrast, using vibrant colors and mixed mediums, Nicole Clare strives to paint the world full of light and love.

“Lines are drawn in life, in law, and in art.  I paint lines as a means of exploration with the intent for the viewer to individually decide where they would stand in my artwork.  We must look at art as a form of expression that has a tendency to connect us to the world in which we embody.  An artist can inspire others through the lines of creativity as he or she propels others to think critically about their own vision of the world.  What can be seen or understood is an individualistic interpretation of our own truth.”
