Blakely Bering, a Houston, Texas-based artist, imbues her works with vibrant imagination and profound emotion. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Bering's studies in theater design have deeply influenced her unique artistic style, which blends

dynamic textures and captivating visuals. From her expansive "ArtFarm" workspace in Houston’s Garden Oaks, Bering creates art intended not just to decorate spaces but to transform them, infusing homes with joy and a sense of wonder.

Her artwork, characterized by its striking horizons and intricate use of mixed media, seeks to evoke powerful emotional responses—joy, serenity, and introspection. Committed to making art an accessible part of everyday life, Bering believes that art, like life, is a continual journey of expression and discovery. She strives to make each piece a conduit for comfort and inspiration, emphasizing that art is essential for enriching our living spaces and lives.

Beyond her canvas, Bering is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment in the arts. As a mentor and Creative Director, she guides emerging artists and women professionals, encouraging them to find their voice and excel in their creative endeavors. Bering’s ongoing exploration of new mediums and themes, such as her recent floral and abstract series, showcases her commitment to artistic growth and innovation.
