Jana Ricker

Dallas-based artist and interior designer Jana Ricker has loved creating for as long as she can remember. Over the years she has explored many different forms of art, but painting is the medium she always returns to. She primarily works with acrylic and ink, often on large canvases that allow her to fully explore the interaction between colors and forms while striving to achieve a balanced composition.

Her work is varied because she continually experiments with new styles and techniques. It is always evolving as she draws inspiration from nature, travel, and her work in the interior design field. Jana believes that a space should reflect the people who live and work there, and that nothing elevates and personalizes a space quite like original art.

To her, original artwork brings a unique energy and vitality to a room. She believes art is not about what it makes you think, but about what it makes you feel.
